Details	History - This is a certified Vintage race car, a Group 6 SVRV Medallion car. The car was raced in SCCA in the seventies and was grand-fathered into SVRA in 1989 by Gene Felton. The car was completely restored and maintained by top notch professionals in 91 and 92, including Robinson Racing (Duluth, Ga.) And Thomas Engines (Cumming, Ga.). It was raced and sorted in the ‘92 seasons in six events, including Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, and Road Atlanta, with a class win in every event completed. This was one of the fastest cars in Group 6 with many record lap times. The body was refinished in 1998. The car has been stored since 1992 and driven on the street occasionally. Engine - 427, .30 over, steel crank. Open chamber aluminum heads, ported & polished. Race prepared competition 750 Holley. Competition cam, roller tappet, roller rocker with custom Jessel Type Billet rocker assembly. MSD Billet distributor & ignition system. Barnes dry sump with external oil cooler. Custom aluminum radiator with shrouding. New bearings and rings before last event. Dynotuned 588 hp. Drive Train - Tilton aluminum bell housing with triple-disc hydraulic clutch. Tex racing Borg Warner T-10 race prepared trans with hiem joint shifter. Transmission oil cooler with Oberg filter. Custom 3" drive shaft. Tom’s Differential race prepared differential (3.73) with hardened ring & pinion and racing limited slip. Differential oil cooler with Oberg filter. Chassis - 2900 lb. with fuel, 50-50 weight balance with ultra thin front clip & rear mounted battery, dry-sump tank & fire system. Power assisted brake system, J-56 type disc brakes.
